Job Title: Maintenance Department Technician

Report To: EVP-Retail Operation/ Director-New Business Development

99 Ranch Market is one of the largest Asian Supermarket chains in the U.S., born in Southern California and now operating over 50 stores that reach coast to coast. We are now looking for a skilled and hard-working Technician to assist our Maintenance Department in maintaining stores facilities and equipment. We pride ourselves on sustaining excellent curb appeal as well as providing our employees and customers with safe, beautiful places to working and shopping. Your job responsibilities will include the maintenance and upkeep of facilities utilities, specifying of equipment, installation design, cost estimating, equipment start-up, including debugging troubleshooting.

Work location are: New Jersey & New York

Primary Responsibilities:

-Inspect all work spaces daily to identify problems with litter, mechanical failure or breakdowns

-Respond to store managers' requests for maintenance services, including replacing air filters, installing new locks and troubleshooting smoke detectors

-Repair plumbing, electrical and safety systems in tenants’ units as required

-Ensure the parking lot and sidewalks are free from litter and debris

-Test performance of in-unit appliances, such as refrigerators, microwaves, stoves, ovens and coffee makers

-Provide store employees' with advice and guidance on maintaining their apartment homes

-Respond to requests from store managers and maintenance services as needed

Necessary Skills & Qualifications:

-High school diploma or GED (construction/architecture related) preferred

-Experience with plumbing and electrical systems required

-Excellent facility with common hand and power tools

-Will be best if the candidate to be able to get familiar with the supermarket store layouts and infrastructure

-Strong communication skills (both written and verbal); fluent in Chinese/English is required

-Willingness to uphold company standards for safety and efficiency

-Able to drive to different store locations (New Jersey Areas)

-Able to use ladders and general tools; able to carry objects over 50 lbs
