Career - Construction / Maintenance Dept Project Coordinator

Union City, CA - 12/11/2015.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

This position requires knowledge and experience in commercial construction administration,details including:

- Permitting / Entitlement Process

- Project Budgeting & Accounting

- Project Schedule

- Process & Respond to RFI's

- Coordinate with Consultants, Sub-Contractors & Vendors

- Review & Process Submittals / Track Change Orders

- Excellent Verbal and Written Communications (Best to be Both English and Chinese Verbal & Written Proficient)

- Traveling around NorCal & Seattle Regions Store Locations & Out-of-state traveling may be required

- Assist Maintenance Manager & Responsible for the maintenance, repair, and replacement of refrigeration systems, utilities and production equipment utilizing the Maintenance Crews and outside contractors. Also, must be available / ready for store emergency repair calls during weekends and holidays.

 

 

JOB REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS:

- Bachelor’s degree in construction management, architecture, design, or related field and / or Engineering degree BS, BA, from a 4 year accredited university – with Mechanical or Electrical engineering preferred.

- Prefer to have working knowledge and experience with construction project accounting including, construction billing, purchase orders, lien releases, job cost, and budgeting

- Prefer to have working knowledge of three or more of the following programs; since will involve preliminary design presentation to Management for review and approval:

        - AutoCAD

        - Microsoft Word, Excel, Power point

        - Microsoft Project

- Minimum 2-3 Years of Maintenance Management experience in restaurant or supermarket chain operations, or central food distribution facilities
