The Merchandising Assistant is responsible for a wide range of administrative duties such as; getting familiar with department items, take incoming calls and reply to emails which including revise purchase orders, deal with store department managers and vendors. Further duties include handling assigned category items, negotiate with vendor, and create purchase orders with approval. You will also be assisting with creating vendor, buyer and customer files in addition to coordinating shipments and making sure the process is completed from beginning to end.
AA Degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Computer Science or related field
Familiar with MS office software’s, especially Excel and Word.
Bilingual English/Chinese is preferred
Extreme confidentiality is essential
Able to multitask in a fast paced environment
Excellent computer skills with proficiency in SAP a plus
Able to sit at a desk setting for 8-10 hours a day
Able to make repetitive finger and wrist movement
